Siyabonga Xaba rose to prominence after getting the role Zweli Hlatswayo in SABC1's End Game. Siyabonga has also played roles that includes Xolani  in 4Play: Sex Tips for Girls - Season 1, Young Chekura in The Book of Negroes - Season 1, Najim in Strike Back and Forget in Soul Buddzy.

In March 2020 he was cast for the role Langa in new crime series Gomora that debuted the same month of Mzansi Magic

Langa (Siyabonga Xaba) is the 16 son of Thathi (Katlego Danke) and Mbongeni (Temba Ndaba) a bank owner. When Mbongeni dies during while being robbed the family falls on hard times is forced to move from affluent Sandton to high density Alex. Langa struggles to adjust but soon to develop a close relationship with Melusi (Zolisi Xaluva) who turns to be his biological father. Langa is very smart and intelligent with an interest in science.
